I am interested in purchasing a butt plate for a Remington 40xc circa 1980's it is a position stock with acsessory rail. Stock dimensions are @5-3/4x@1-7/8.Also leeds on reloading supplies.
I made due by whittling an aluminum spacer and a but plate from Brownells, although not a long range gun it has worked at short courses. Stripper clip guide is a modified winchester 70. A little dry moly lube on the stripper clip works for smooth feeding, also the 10round stripper clips have been modified as purchased from shooters corner (the list)
